San Francisco has an amazing number of low priced casa de vanzare sighisoara joints that often serve wonderful food. At some of the Mexican places in the Mission, for example, you can still fill up on delicious burritos, tacos, and the like, for under $5.00. Chinese restaurants are also usually good value.
Golden Gate Bridge This world-famous engineering masterpiece sets off the entrance to San Francisco Bay in the most spectacular way, and never fails to elicit gasps of awe from first-time visitors and old-timers alike (see pp8 9).
